ASSIGNED DISMISSAL:
Students will be dismissed through the same gates that they entered in the morning. Please be on time to pick up your child. In the event of an emergency, please call the office.
ATTENDANCE:
It is extremely important that children are in school every day, and on time. The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) aims for all students to maintain an "Excellent Attendance" rate of 96% or higher throughout the school year. This translates to no more than 7 absences during the entire school year.
CLASSROOM BIRTHDAY PARTIES:
Please note that in the interest of equity and maximizing instructional time, per LAUSD, classroom birthday parties are not permitted at any time during instructional time. Thank you for your cooperation.
CELLPHONES AND SMART WATCHES:
A friendly reminder that cellphones should be off during the school day and stored in the student's backpack. Cellphones or smart watches are not to be on or used during the school day.
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS:
We have our Ready-Set-Go! before school child care option. The program begins at 6:30am and ends at 8:00am. Applications are online at https://lasbest.org/application/. For more information call (424) 244-2239.
We also have LA’s Best, the after school program offered at our school. LA’s Best runs from school dismissed until 6:00pm for grades TK-5. Applications are online at https://lasbest.org/application/. For more information call (213) 745-1900.
All students who were enrolled in one of the programs last year, must re-enroll for the new school year.

SALIDA ASIGNADA:
Los estudiantes serán despedidos por los mismos portones en los que entraron por la mañana. Por favor, llegue a tiempo para recoger a su hijo/a. En caso de emergencia, llame a la oficina para informarnos que está llegando tarde.
ASISTENCIA ESCOLAR:
Es extremadamente importante que los niños estén en la escuela todos los días y a tiempo. El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Los Ángeles (LAUSD) busca que todos los estudiantes mantengan una "Asistencia Excelente" de 96% o superior durante el año escolar. Esto se traduce en un máximo de 7 ausencias durante todo el año escolar.
FIESTAS DE CUMPLEAÑOS EN EL SALÓN:
Tenga en cuenta que, en aras de la equidad y la maximización del tiempo de instrucción, según LAUSD, las fiestas de cumpleaños en el salón no están permitidas en ningún momento durante el tiempo de instrucción. Gracias por su cooperación.
TELÉFONOS CELURARES Y RELOJES INTELIGENTES:
Un recordatorio amistoso que los teléfonos celulares deben estar apagados durante el día escolar y guardados en la mochila del estudiante. Los teléfonos celulares o relojes inteligentes no deben estar encendidos ni usarse durante el día escolar.
PROGRAMAS ANTES Y DESPUÉS DE CLASES:
Ofrecemos ¡Preparados, Listos, Ya! una opción de cuidado infantil antes de clases. El programa comienza de 6:30 am a y termina a las 8:00 am. Las solicitudes están disponibles en línea en https://lasbest.org/application/. Para más información, llame al (424) 244-2239.
También contamos con LA’s BEST, el programa extracurricular que se ofrece en nuestra escuela. LA’s Best funciona desde la salida de clases hasta las 6:00 p. m. para los grados TK-5.
