Hello!  My name is Mrs. Chu.  This is my 20th year teaching elementary school.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Boston University.   I taught ESL (English as a Second Language) in Seoul, Korea for a year and a half and decided that I wanted to pursue teaching as a career.  I received both my teaching credential and Master's degree in Reading Instruction from CSU Fullerton.  I have always enjoyed working with children and feel fortunate that I come to a job that is both rewarding and fun.  I have three beautiful children of my own so can understand things from both a teacher's and parent's point of view when it comes to school.  I grew up in Hawaii and love the beach.  I also enjoy reading, listening to classical music, watching my children play soccer and as my students know, I enjoy eating all kinds of food.
